Qualifications
I am a board-certified physician in both adult psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry, with training and experience across a wide range of clinical settings.
I earned my medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, then completed residency in adult psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. Following this, I pursued fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
The intensity of training required to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist means that I have engaged in over 15,000 hours of clinical experience, leading to board-certification in both adult psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry. To achieve and maintain this certification, I’ve sat for over 45 hours of national board and licensing examinations, including all three steps of the USMLE, as well as board exams in both adult and child psychiatry.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in diverse settings—including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and emergency departments—allowing me to care for patients across the full spectrum of psychiatric acuity.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in medical education. I lecture regularly on foundational and advanced topics in psychopharmacology to child and adolescent psychiatry fellows at CHOP, and have also presented to school mental health professionals through the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. I provide consultation to pediatricians and primary care providers, particularly around the evaluation and treatment of ADHD.
My training and experiences allow me to approach patients with evidence-based care shaped by years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of psychiatric concerns.

I am considered an out-of-network (OON) provider, which means I do not participate directly with any insurance plans. I’ve chosen this model to allow for more personalized and comprehensive care, without the administrative constraints and time limitations often imposed by insurance companies.
-
What does this mean for you?
You pay me directly at the time of service.
I will provide you with a superbill, which is a receipt that includes the necessary codes and details for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Reimbursement (if any) depends on your specific insurance plan’s out-of-network benefits.
-
If you’d like to check your out-of-network benefits, you can ask your insurance company:
Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient psychiatric services?
Is there a deductible I need to meet first?
What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?
Do you require any specific forms or prior authorization?
-
You may see my name appear in insurance directories as an in-network provider. That reflects my work with a separate employer and is not related to my private practice. My private practice operates independently with a different tax ID number (EIN) and is not affiliated with any insurance network.
